MOAB 2011-"It's Ok, We're Taking It Back" Tour

let's talk dates, people.

With the speed they're closing trails up there, don't assume you'll be able to wheel Moab forever.

Easter is late in the Spring next year and so will EJS 2011 - April 16th - 24th
http://www.rr4w.com/pageview.aspx?id=16382

The April Car Show is the following weekend.
http://www.discovermoab.com/calendar.htm

Nothing scheduled for the week before EJS at this time.

I would be open for sometime the first 2 weeks of April myself. Not into the crowds. Some have mentioned this would be more worth the longer drives to make it similar to Ouray schedule and run Wed-Sat.

We'll have to see if Letank is coming this year, he is a fellow Frenchman (with a 4 seater wagoneer).

Even if I have the wagoneer, the rear bench has been in storage for a long time.... the rear is the cargo area for the tools, the parts.... remember that 2 years ago I came w the off-road bike, I had 2 bikes for JP and me.

I will do my best to attend, unless something unscheduled happened.

Ryan thanks for the pm....

Of course Michel! Wouldn't be the same without you there!

Hoping more people chime in over the winter. It'd be cool to see everyone again, and with the way trail closures are happening in Utah, it's NOT a good time to skip wheeling there. Unless..you like walking. For some reason, not many FSJ owners do

I hear you Kenny. What is your preference?

There has not been much feedback to set a date from. I am still open to sometime the first 2 weeks of April.

Any feedback about doing a Wed-Sat time frame for the gathering like we do at Ouray?

WELL? Are we gana have to start a great googly poll or what?

Well, the three wise men have picked it! We're on!!!

Now to whip the rest of the slackers in line! Let's get the party line going to other people that have attended, and some of the AZ folks too..they need to get up and see Moab!

Tax accountants won't like these dates, but what kind of accountant would own a FSJ in the first place...
