Moab trip name

Since Moab is pretty off road specific and there isn't a specific "moab events" thread, I figured I would post this poll here.

What is the consensus for the name of the Moab trip?

My vote is for "FSJ Slickrock Incursion: Project Alpha" for the military black-ops non-specific undertones.

Oh, alright. If it has to be a word that starts with "in", let it be the Moab FSJ Invasion.

That is boring... doesn't leave any openings for t-shirts or bumperstickers! Everyone knows about the performance gains FSJ's get from cool offroad bumperstickers!

Everyone uses "Invasion" and it brings to mind massive quantities of troops running roughshod over third world terrain. Whereas the black-ops undertones of "Incursion" bring to mind highly trained specialized teams on a tactical mission and yet lack the sexual overtones of other black-ops keywords like "Insertion."

I remember you posting these back then. I have to say, I do not mind driving to the top of a 13000 mountain pass with my FSJ, but I do not do Lion's Back!

Why do I hear that insane screech from the old cartoons usually done when someone was falling?
Definitely have to have low range for that one and maybe an anchor from a battle ship dragging behind!!!!!

That's even more insane looking than from the ground. The only way I'll get to the top of Lions Back is via HELICOPTER. <g>

The Lion's Back is insane

I wouldn't try it in my Grand either!

You can walk up it - you'd have to go on all fours at the base of it though...

There is a TON of other trails in the Moab area - you'll have a blast, I guarantee it. Carry a lot of water!

Guess which old, fat mechanic will NOT be riding down Lion's Back with bigun!

Hi,
My boyfriend and I have been lurking on this board for a long time, though I think this is my first post, and we were thinking about maybe going to this Moab run.

As for the boobie theme, FSJ boobie safari doesnt sound very apealing to me for a few reasons, I dont see myself hunting or searching for full size boobies in a FSJ, I dont personally think I would put myself in the "Full size boobie" category so the name doesnt make me feel included.

The name FSJ boobie tour seems more fitting to me, but I havent seen the people on the board... maybe we should go with manboobie.

I like the shirt idea though

On the other hand the names with a military-ish theme brings thoughts of the FSJeeps rescuing the baby jeeps that get stuck and seems more like a "big and tough" name.
