engine swap

I have a almost new 350 Chevy short block that I can swap into my 77 Cherokee Chief with AMC 360.

Will the engine bolt to the automatic tranny currently in the Jeep or do I need an adaptor? I have read differing view points. I need the straight skinny. Also, where can I get motor mounts for this swap? Thanks.

You will definately need an adapter plate, and you can get motor mounts from www.advanceadapters.com
They will also be able to give you all the information you need. It's the best place to get the straight skinny on exactly what you need.
