1984 Jeep J20 Build

ive had this Jeep for almost 3 years now and am finally getting it together.
it took me about 2 years to gather up good rust free parts.. OEM Fenders, OEM Valence, Rust Free Doors from out west and a solid Radiator Support. In 2010 i Left for the Marine Corp so training took over 6 months to complete. i got done all my training by last October and finished up my parts gathering recently.

My plans are to get this thing on the road im tired of looking at it, i wanna drive it. the truck is going through a complete overhaul. sanding down to the bare metal spraying with dupont primer and getting painted bright orange. its gonna be the great pumpkin haha.

id like to thank pineymike, jeepinpete, 91G-Dub, jsinajeep.. for helping me with these parts.

more to come, stay tuned

Good to see another one coming together, I got mine presentable enough for car shows this spring after owning it several years, I've been to around half a dozen shows this summer and it has been the only FSJ, and also the only AMC powered at quite a few of them. Here's the build pics, might help with your assembly...

Progress 9.11.11

trucks been taken apart and body work has begun!

this week the brake and fuel lines are being taken off and the frame is getting cleaned up and sprayed.. the back of the bed where the tailights go is beyond repair so thats getting chopped off. a new piece of metal is getting welded on and itll be flush with the back of the bed.
