temp sensor

ok so i installed my new clutch fan. i some how bent the temp sensor so i bought a new one from Bjs. installed that too. drive it down the road a mile and the gauge is up to 200 then 220 then down then up. i noticed that when i put my rear window up the needle spiked. im assuming i have a wiring issue now, or is it something just with the sensor and wire.

The rear window motor draws a lot of current when the connections and motor are good. When the connection gets corroded or the motor starts to go or the window binds it draws even more. Lights dim, volt meter jumps. Never noticed if other guages jump.
If you didn't have the problem before then suspect the sensor(bad ground?) or the wire(bad connection).
