Just checked on the camping. There are plenty of primitive places to set up camp. No reservations. That's all I need!

3 days away! How's it looking for all you on the list. I just have a few minor details on Johnson and I'm ready for the trip. How 'bout the rest of you?

I'll be there, probably by myself, the girlie was going to go but something about a "female type thing" may keep her from going. So what's the plan, I'm guessing something simple for lunch and then later are we looking at each doing our thing or going to the resturant in CK? I don't want to bring more stuff than I need but don't want to be unprepared either. I'll have a lot of beer of course. I may need to get a new tent, I have one that I've never used but it's too big for one person, it's over kill. Am I forgetting anything? What about gas? Is it typical to be able to do this trail and get to a gas station on a full tank? The Grand loves gas especially when it's in 4lo.

SH*&, SH^&, SH#%!!! I FOUND OUT I HAVE TO WORK SUNDAY. They wanted me to work Saturday also but I got someone else to work for me. I'm trying to get someone to work on Sunday also, but if I can't, I don't think I'll be camping.

How long does it take to get back to the Valley through Cordes Junction?

I doesn't take that long to get back, I've been to CK before and it only takes maybe a hour and a half to get back to Phoenix from there.

CB channel 4, 2-way radio channel 4. I'll send out an e-mail to all on the attendance roster with my cell phone number.

Should be a fun trip! If we have 10 or so rigs it will be quite a site.

I am going solo so if someone wants to go but can't they can ride shotgun with me.

I've got the tires sitting out under the carport, feel free to come get them when you want to.

Yeah, they got 1.2 inches of rain last night. This trail ride is not only going to be fun, it'll be beautiful!

The trail ride is still scheduled as planned. The rain shouldn't increase the difficulty by too much. The areas that are likely to be affected by rain (muddy) are on what is usually the non-eventful part of the trail. Once we get to the more difficult part, we'll be in the rocks. It's gonna' take a lot more rain to mess up the rocks!

the rain has died down some. I think it will be good. If we hit a crossing we can't ford we will make the best of it. Should be a BLAST! I wouldn't try it alone but with a group of us it should be fun.

I will be fix'n some pork tenderloin sandwiches and cheese crisps for lunch (LOS DOS SLASA!).
I should have plenty to pass around.

Just to be safe I am packing my camping gear (extra clothes, sleeping bag, etc) in case we find ourselves stuck.

I will see you in the morning!

This is going to be fun. Even in the rare event we can't make it all the way up for some reason, there are plenty of others places to camp in the general area if we had to. See you guys in the morning

I like your attitudes! I've got a winch, strap and common sense. We might make it to the top or we might not. We may be camping at Lake Pleasant, staying at the infamous Castle Hot Spring Resort or even catching last call at the saloon in Crown King tomorrow night. Whatever we do, I'll bet we have fun!
I heard the baby jeep club postponed their CK trip scheduled for Sunday. What a bunch of babies!
I'll see y'all in the morning!
