You can buy or fab a drop in box to put right around/behind where your windshield washer tank fits.

Unfortunatly I didn't get any after pix posted with the batteries installed. It was a clean looking setup with no tire rub. I could have dropped them another 2 inches for more hood clearance. The intake snorkle went right in between the batteries after I moved the end bracket over a bit. It was sweet.

Plum, just my two cents but I wouldn't use an isolator. They will always send juice to the weakest battery. Most of the time this is a good thing but I like to be able to control which battery(or both) gets what and when. I used two rebuildable 200A relays run via toggles switches and idiot lights to show easily which batteries are in/out of the loop.
Isolators are an option for sure but just not my preference but if you want one I've got a used one and it's yours for the postage.
Email me if you want it.

Its been so long I forget what was there originally but it went on the passenger side directly over the tire.Dropped in a box that holds two optimas, a couple of soleniods and we were in business. Nice location

i have the fenderwell that rstep. it was put in a couple of weeks ago. all three of my 4x4 have dual batterys. the j-20 has a isalotor from checkers that i like. the international travelall has a solonid that kicks in when i turn the key to start this thing, but when the key is off i can run all my accessories off of the 2nd battery and i dont have to worry about draining the starting battery. i have been leaning towards the solonid system for the cherokee. still thinking that over. all of the trucks have a aux fuze block that i run the acc off. dont have to worry about draining the starting battery. will keep you informed on the progress.
