Green wire /negative terminal of coil

Upgrading the MSD 6A plus TFI coil, while using the magnetic pickup.

The MSD diagram doesn't indicate what the green wire (negative terminal) of the connector is used for... but it looks like it's left blank.

Is that correct?

Which connector? What type distributor? The magnetic pickup of a '77 Prestolite distributor will not work with the MSD 6A module.

Have a duraspark distributor...

But nvmnd. The green on the diagram serves no purpose. Just connected the 'ignition on' line to the MSD then have both wires for the coil coming straight from the MSD.

Haven't turned it over yet...

Waiting on a new light switch.
