    The Ultimate 70's - early 80's Spotsman

I have come across a fun way to display dads Cherokee at car shows.

I call it the ultimate period correct sportsman's package that pairs the Cherokee with a 70's style Bass Boat. This one happens to be a 1973 King Fisher 156PRO with 65 horse Mercury. The boat is in fantastic condition. It was stored under cover and has a whooping 108 hours on it. The fiberglass is still glossy and the garish color palette looks great with dads rig. I would also like to get it running and actually fish out of it.

We plan on showing with a various assortment of tackle and accessories, including (if I can find it) a "Schlitz" cooler and beer.

      Aww schweet Looks good bud!
Too bad you weren't closer. I've been helping someone go through their pole building, deciphering what's sellable and what's junk, and come across a lot of older fishing equipment in good shape. A lot that ranges, probably from the 60's to the 90's.

I suggest moving the boat back at least 6 inches if not more. The tongue weight is all wrong. It will tow much better if it is better ballanced

It does look great. Boats and the marine business just so happen to be what I have done professionally for over 25 years. No need to be a dick!
