ok, is the above mentioned doable?
The axles are off an 81 J-10 and I have an 83 Cherokee, would they be a direct bolt in?

Rear axle spring perches will have to be moved inwards. The frame on the J10 is wider.

Front will bolt right up, but that is really the same as what you have in there now. But for a gearing change the J10 pair would be better kept together.

You would also want to think about the front fenders off of the J truck or a W/T Cherokee, and rear flares of some sort. The truck axles are wider than your N/T

I have a J10 axle on big red. Like crazy Jeepman said got to mount new spring perches. Yea someguy does make those perches. Hmmmmmm! I hear that his business partner and himself kinda know what they are talking about
