My craigslist find - complete th400/dana 20/driveshafts and adaptor

Scanning craigslist and found this not too far away -

When my QT gives up the ghost I will convert over to this setup - my only question is do I need to find the correct crossmember for the d20 or will the cross members in my 79 cherokee work?

Gives me a summer project to practice rebuilding them -

I have the same setup sitting in the garage. Whats with the bellhousing adapter? Mine doesnt have that. Also check the adapter between trans and t case. They are known for cracking

About what did that set you back? I'm looking for the same set-up for my 78 Cherokee Chief. Or if I can find a 4-speed and D-20, I'd prefer that.
Still considering going to all Chevy running gear if I have to. (Chevy sb350/sm465/np205) I would like to stay Jeep, but if I can't find the right parts at decent price, I'll go to the dark side.

The "real" find is the combination with the AMC pattern TH400.
They were used during the fist part of the 1974 production run.

I think I paid 125 for my combo and that was with fresh rebuilds on the trans and tcase and a spare Dana 20
