I'm hoping that there are plans or some real axles under it ASAP. 45" tires and Dana 44's = broken. Otherwise sounds cool! Let's see some pictures.

Regardless of what breaks, run with it.
Sounds like a nice way to spend the weekend.

This is EXACTLY how my J10 got to the point it's at, now. 2+ years after the third time breaking the front axle, I finally got the parts together. This was my 1st 4wd trial, 2 days ago:

I haven't been back in the mud yet. Not sure I will (no local bogs, since our club fell apart), but I enjoy being able to go out to the park, or the local reservoir and play wherever I want with "little" fear of breaking now.

Advice: I'm running 37's (measure 35" at 12psi) on the stock springs, SOA. You'll need AT LEAST 6" lift on top of that to run 45s.

i think you can clear them. soa, shackle flip + aal. cut fenders on top of that. i think it will work. keep the front open or dont turn under power.when the stock shafts break there is always aloy shafts. you WILL break shafts. and you WILL HAVE FUN!

I plan to run 42's on mine with one tons and 2.5" lift with soa. i will have to limit uptravel with bumpstops but thats it. Cut the fender flairs off and you will be suprised how much tire you can shove up in there.

Where do you go to bog at? Sounds like a good plan. You know you wanna skip the 1 tons and go straight to 2.5 tons and a set of r1's.

I bog mine although its not as big/tall as most of the trucks out there soa and 36's. I also trail ride it too and a little street duty when neccesary. I'll be heading to iron horse in fl next month.

Yep! Run it-Break it, Fix it...Repeat. Have fun with it instead of letting it sit while your trying to create the ultimate buggy.
