Six passenger Waggy/tailgating seat

Flipped the bench seat to other side of wheel wells and added two Wagoner bucket seats.
The middle seats are from another Wagoneer parts car.

Thats cooler than heck. I suppose one of the aftermarket back seats for a CJ could work also. I like it!

That's awesome!
Can you post a picture of the passenger bucket seats?

In the late 80's we had a 85 and 82 wag. Around Christmas the whole family thought it would be a good idea for all of us to ride together to see our grand parents a couple hours away. Did what you did and put one wag seat in backwards in the other one.

It would work pretty well but the rear seat is way to close to the tail gate when closed. Kids seating only.

I still have that rear seat out of the 82 and probably will keep it for that reason. Might need to shove some kids back there.

Ha! Reminds me of sliding around on plastic seats when I was a kid. Parents had a station wagon with fake wood paneling and we'd take it from Bakersfield to Paramount and Hawthorne, CA to visit the grandparents. It was uncomfortable being forced to stare at drivers who had no where else to look...

All of my wagons get a lot of attention, and someone is always asking
about the third seat that they remember from way back. Constantly
disappointing them when I tell them my wagons don't have the third seat.
That looks great, did you give the second row seats their own console?

I would agree!
~35mph frontal(offset) did about 5k damage to mine.
Very glad I put the roadmaster buckets and rear shoulder belts in mine.
Probably saved my 9yr old from injuries.

https://youtu.be/K2KEB-S6_EA

That video is of a 30mph crash.
The rear frame/cargo area would crumple like a beer can.
These are not safe vehicles, and anybody sitting in cargo area would not fair well in a collision.

I agree as well. To not seem soft or negative I refrained from saying it though. Rear-ended last year and my neck still hurts. Could not imagine being in that 3rd row...

I have a 1990 that I just bought and it looks like this third row seat facing out the back tailgate came from the factory. What this ever an option?

Funnily the fan shroud was intact, but it was for a 6 cyl... and I did not take the shroud... because I believe that the fitting is different...

Edit.... I had to go back to get some goodies and upon inspection, it seems that the Rig rolled off the lift fork or a contraption during processing... the front and rear bumper do not show any impact, the radiator and shroud were not damaged, nor was any door hard to open. The vent window on the passenger side was probably damage during the roll over at the facility.

I bought my 16 year old son an '87 with 80K miles, 3rd owner. He was hit on the drivers front fender by a CRV doing 35 at least. The impact pushed the left frame member under the crank shaft pulley. All he had was a concussion.
