    Rusty Wheel

I had a flat on the '67. It had been parked for several days in the same spot next to the J20. A few days ago I went out to haul some lumber on the J20 and noticed the '67 tilted to the left. The left front was flat. No big deal I thought, just jack it up and get it fixed. Not so fast - the tire guy discovered the rust damage in the photo and asked if I had another wheel since this one is unusable:

Lucky for me I bought four of those wheels several years ago and put them away. I'm lucky that thing didn't fail while I was driving!

BTW - where can you go to easily cut the file size on the photos? Sorry about the huge pics.

Copy the different link from flickr into your post. You'll see different sizes mentioned if you look close enough.

I have had a few FSJ that would have been top contenders in a rusty truck contest but none had wheels that bad!

Wow! It's surprising looking at that, that you didn't have flat months ago. Better in your yard than on the highway

What's the problem? Craigslist said "just a little surface rust".
