There are only a few basic types of oxygen sensors. Is yours wideband or narrowband? Heated or not? How many wires?

I also have some extra bungs here. Let me know if I can send you one.

Your truck looks next level awesome now! Wow! The grill with the 4 headlights looks SOOoooo great!

I think your fueling problems are in your fuel pump/regulator (like babywag said in the other thread). You EFI relies on steady fuel pressure (even as fuel demand increases) and as it drops, your truck runs lean, your EFI tries to add fuel by extending the fuel pulses but that does not work because your pressure is so low.

That's my guess.

OK, I gave everything a good looking over and found no exhaust leak or signs of one. I found a website that says

I believe that's a wideband sensor, and likely the same one the Innovate LC-1 wideband controller in my other car uses.

Does FiTech give you the means to stay in open loop mode so that you're running just on the base tables and not trying to trim mixture based on sensor feedback?

Do they give you a procedure to calibrate the wideband sensor?

I'm currently going to take a short break from freaking out over the running problems and concentrate on some other things for a few days.


Yesterday the Raptorliner arrived so now I need to finish prepping so I can spray that and that will finish the body.



I also need to work on cleaning everything up and mowing the back yard which has become quite overgrown again



On top of that I go back to Wed-Thur-Fri off on Saturday which means I will be working 2nd shift Wed, Thur, Fri, then go to 1st shift Sat, Sun, Mon, and Tue which sucks and I don't know how much I will get done over this next week.

Today 78 WIDETRAC decided it would be a good day to take a drive up to see me. We had a nice little visit and I got to show off my truck

and he drop off these




Which may not be absolutely perfect but they are close enough for me

It was nice to meet you, and see your truck in person. It is NICE! I like the door lock mod. They just operated so smooth.



I agree with you on our door locks being hard on keys.


I'll look for a similar kit.



Other than the bit of traffic north, I was a nice drive. Heading south was a total breeze. I was back by 5


I'm glad those will work for you. I had no use for them.

When we talked about the inner headlights I wish I had taken the trim ring off and shown you exactly how they are mounted.



I really like the power locks and wish I had installed them years ago. I did have to modify the little clam that secures it to the rod but that was just a matter of clamping it into a vice and using a drill bit the same size as the rod to make the groove large enough.

I'm very close to spraying the bedliner. Basically I need to install the close out panels and the fuel filler hose shroud. I was going to do that a couple days ago but when I dug them out I realized they were in a little rougher shape than I remembered. So I took them to work, sandblasted and mechanically stripped them, did a little bit of repair work and brought them home and primed them and painted the back sides. Now I just need to reinstall them, shoot a little primer and I will be ready to apply the bedliner. That will finish the paint job for the most part. After that it will be reinstall the door cards and figure out what's wrong with the fuel injection.
