I'm still hoping for some backcountry camping, going to scout out some locations this june, figure most of the lower runs will be open by then.

If 46 is big enough for 2 tents& 2 trucks, I'll have an extra spot as it looks like I'll be making the trip solo.......................

are you going to fix your frame before coming out, just saw that in the wanted section

I have an 82 J10 frame section, already cut if you can't find anything closer..

I think it will work. I didn't stay on that side last year so I don't remember exactly but I think it would work.

EDIT: you could PM the guys that did stay on that side... SVO42 & Riverrat stayed in 46 last year. Also, NE715 was in 46a last year.

Don't know yet but I'm gonna swap the entire frame while I'm at it. I won't be taking the J10 but rather the Cherokee. Not that the old gal wouldn't make it out, we just don't use it for anything but farm work.

Brutus-Thanks for the heads-up

I think Ryan is staying with us some nights... if not someone else is welcomed to, we only have 1 vehicle and 1 tent and are looking to cut costs if we can. $25 a night is by far the most I've ever paid for camping!

I just thought of something... You could write a very confusing book from all the posts in this thread. Each year, the main Ouray thread just goes on and on and on and seems very fregmented but ultimately, we come together and cruise the passes with FSJ clan fellowship in July. That's just cool.

Hey nw_upstart, glad you are going to join the party!. It's a great group of folks to hang out and go wheel'n with. The area surronding Ouray is, without a doubt, some of the most beautiful in the world and, I can tell you, the best I have ever seen.

I cannot wait for this!

You all are the greatest. We always like to visit the dogs up there. I guess I have another reason to get to Yankee Boy Basin this year with a hand full of my mother's ashes.

Looks like I need to update the KOA map! Welcome!

Ryan - That is exactly what everyone looked like the morning after Agave, before we ran up to Imogene and almost died!

Y'all can count me in too!

It doesn't take much to convince me (or my girlfriend) to go to Colorado.

Site 52A for those of you keeping score at home.
