What is this placard?

Anyone know that this placard was used for? Came off of the radiator/grill body mounts of a 1984 Cherokee (Wagoneer Body)

Not seeing anything, but if about 2x3 inch metal tag with a bunch of letter/number codes, is probably a factory option/equipment ID plate.
