exhaust manifold question

Hey guys wonderin' if you could help me? The exhaust manifold on my j10 is cracked. Its got a 258, and I know a guy with a 1980 j10 manifold. Will this manifold be exactly like the one on my 79 j10? Thanks alot you guys have been a big help.

The 1980 258 manifold should be the same as a 1979 258 manifold. The change to the newer style manifolds (aluminum intake, smoother iron exhaust) came in 1981. If newer style, the differences will be obvious.
