Anyone been to the Pomona Swap meet in the last 10 years?

When I was in High School and after, I used to go to at least 3 Pomona Swap meets (PSMs) a year. It was ALWAYS a good time, well worth the money to get in, well worth the early wake up to get good deals. Often times I would buy a "show" spot in the car corral so I could get in the night before because all the good buys would be gone by 7am. I still have pictures of rigs I saw there, almost bought there, etc.

Anyway, Craigslist killed my motivation to go to PSMs and I have not been to one in probably over 10 years. I am wondering if they are still as magical as they were in the 90's and early 2000's. Do they still sell out of vendor spots? Do they still fill the Fairplex? Still good deals?

Kinda thinking of taking my son. I see pre-'85 cars and trucks are only $25 to get in (used to be 75 and earlier when I used to go), so maybe we'll roadtrip there the evening of Dec 7th, camp inside and walk the grounds in the morning... hm....

Pomona swap meet is still an epic experience. If you do decide to do it let me know and I will join you. The only complaint I have is that you have to really keep up a good pace to see everything because it is so big.
