Congrats to you, sir, for finding an indulgent wife and a worthwhile pastime.

You are a lucky man, time to tell your wife that you need another one for parts.

Cool another Chattanooga guy. Congrats on the new waggy. If you ever need any hard to find parts let me know and I'll see if I have it.

Congrats, you are very fortunate. My wife tolerates the disease an enabled it this xmax with an aluminum spool gun for my welder. She would never buy me a jeep, though I offered my 89 GW to her if I could get another.

Welcome.

like they said, you may not be much of a mechanic now, but you will be!

It's a good site and good truck to learn on. Most mechanical questions are answered pretty quick.

My advice. Plan out what you are doing. Patience.

thanks

Thanks guys for all the great words.

Whats even nicer is that she found a Wagoneer in great shape. When I opened the hood I found the PO had put in all new belts, hoses, battery, spark plugs, wires, distributor, starter, he fiberglassed the underside to protect from rust and a bunch of other little stuff. It runs great ( for now ). And she negotiated and got it for a fantastic price.

But I don't dare show her everyones responses or she may then realize how good I got it

Merry Christmas indeed!
Well, glad you can talk to us now.
I can't tell from the lighting in the picture, is it blue or black?

Hey Congrats on the Grand Waggy dude!

I got my wife a Jeep hat just for putting up with my addictive (economically head up my Great Googley MoogleyGreat Googley MoogleyGreat Googley Moogley) Jeep hobby!

The hat looks really good on me and that I know b/c it barely was on her head.

Luckily, the black Ugs (sp?) were a better hit.

It really takes a special woman to put up with a Jeep freak!

I've got a few things left on the XJ and then the Grand gets all the attention.

It is such a cool ride and I HOPE YOU AND YOUR WIFE GET TO DO THE FAMILY PICNIC MARKETING PHOTO OP SOON!

Enjoy and Merry Christmas to all you Jeepin' lugnuts!
