RIP: Rick Bielec AKA ricbee

Frank Sanborn brought this to my attention that Ricbee's sister made this announcement:

"Thank you to everyone who has been praying and sending well wishes for my brother Rick Bielec.
He passed away this morning (July 10, 2020) with his family by his side.
He is no doubt riding is moped with the angels as his friend Joseph Thompson said.
A special Thank you to all Ricks scooter, moped & motorcycle buddies especially Bob and everyone from Allen Park School District especially Gen.
Due to covid19 Ricks service will be live streamed. Information to follow."

Sorry to hear Rick passed. My prayers are for peace of mind and comfort of heart for his family as they grieve. I'll lock the rig in 4wd and fling some dirt around in his honor. Ride with the angels Rick

For us members in the Midwest, meaning primarily Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and the surrounding area...Rick was a true friend.

Rick was extremely knowledgeable about all things Jeep and general automotive.
He was always willing to help and lend a hand.

FSJ Community lost a good friend and Rick will be missed.

Rick was the first FSJ person I met in person, he was a great guy, lived right down the road from me. He'll be missed

I came here to make the announcement but Bryan beat me to it. (Hello Bryan)

I registered on IFSJA in 2005 to find a transmission in the wanted section. Rick found one in a yard near him and contacted me. We scavenged several yards since then. He really liked Jeeps but he loved his dogs.
