91 Rebuild-up Starts Tomorrow

I'm putting my 91 back together starting tomorrow. I've done some general rehab, including top half and tranny and tc rebuild. It's going to be nice to be touching clean and painted parts. Thanks to everyone who helped me remove the grime

I'll post up some pics tomorrow of the past work, and continue to post the rebuild on this thread.

Dry fit the timing chain cover and water pump. I'll pickup new hardware tomorrow and install.

Keep those pics coming! How easy/tough was the TCase rebuild? I have alot of slack in my drive train specifically a thunk when I put her in reverse. Have gotten under there and the thunk/ slop is coming from the Tcase. Any input as if it might be the VC or just slop in the bearings, etc.?

I didn't do the tcase rebuild myself. I was already in WAY deep and needed to make sure a few things (TC/Tranny) were done by an expert.

I took it to a guy recommended on this forum. Ripley in Waukegan, IL. They were solid and did a great job. I guess I won't know for sure until it's running.
