I haven't finished the headliner. The last few months have been tough at the Orga household. Got two sinus infections this winter and my Son moved to Miami, so I don't have my trusty sidekick to help every Saturday. For a couple weeks every time I go out to work on my truck I would get sad. I have been so blessed to have him a couple miles down the road. The project cars we have done is our way of hanging out. Glad to be back at it this week, got a lot done.

Took all day to clean these sill plates, I wished I had taken before pics, these things were nasty. Two pieces 1 Long 1 Short have pits, will need to replace. no one seems to sell these.

Hey Jim. The headliner is not that tough. 1) Make sure the headliner cardboard is smooth and clean, I used a stiff brush to remove the old glue. 2) Lay the headliner fabric over cardboard headliner, then pull it back half way. Start from the center spray glue on both sides and work your way out. I could see where an extra set of hands would be helpful, but I did it by myself. Call if ya have any questions. Rich

That looks great. Love that color.
I still need to put my new headliner material on my sun visors, curious if you took any pics of that process.

Looks nice. Where did you get the acrylic sheet?

I purchased the acrylic sheets from Regal supply around $20 a sheet.

Sweet, thanks. I've never done them myself, always sent them to a shop to do, but if I can manage it myself I will.

The board looks great! Did regal supply ship it to you, or are they local? Just about to start this project and was contemplating using sign material called coroplast, but I think this works much better

Did a bit more research and came to the obvious conclusion that there is no company that’s would ship those.
Curious to know the specs of what you bought (material, size, thickness color, etc).
Also curious to learn more about your process, if you had to cut and glue to shape or if you used heat somehow. I’ve used acrylic glue for other acrylic projects and that is serious stuff...

The material I used for the Headboard is Fluted Polypropylene 2MM 48"x96" in white. It was $24.00 a sheet and it takes two full sheets. I used a Utility knife to cut the board and I used the blunt end of a drill bit to create fold lines.
