Thumbs up Measurement request

Hey everyone,

I have a request. I need a measurement of how wide the top of the driver's front door glass is, and also how wide the glass is on the back door of a wagoneer. Basically measure from window channel to window channel along the top of the door where the window rolls up & down.

Thanks so much!

As near as I can measure just right at 20 7/8"

As an aside all roll up glass was interchangable between front and rear doors, at least up until the tape regulators (I don't know about those).

J-trucks, wags, and cherokees all used the same roll up glass.

If you can't make it better why waste your time. No use repeating the orignal mistakes. I'm to old to push it that's why.

21 inches exactly

Hi Joe,
First post but longtime lurker! Just two days ago I removed my driver's side window and it is exactly 21 inches across. This is from a 1978 J20.

Haven't tried posting pictures yet, but let me know if you need a pic. Wonderful amount of rust on the bottom of the sash that popped the spot welds for the arm on the crank... Yup, it fell to the bottom and dragged the lock rod down with it....had to crawl out the window opening
