I have a two car garage and a gravel drive way. So the J20 gets the gravel work and the GW is in the Garage now in pieces! The wife's VW Jetta TDI takes the other garage spot

The last place I worked on my FSJ was just before exit 8 on the New Jersey Turnpike where it blew a radiator hose. Most of the time I work on wherever it breaks down

I get to take mine to the auto skills center on base I got threatened with getting kicked out of base housing when I was checking my oil. The auto skills center has 4 lifts, 8 bays and all the tools I could ever possibly think of. Then again if I'm not there 45minutes before they open I end up having to wait 4 to 5 hours for a bay.

Used to be able to use the carport where my toolbox and junk is, but the wife's 75 clubcab longbox powerwagon just fills that sucker completely up now, now I work in the driveway, half way to the street cause her busted van is parked behind the power wagon. We're supposed to rectify all of this this weekend so we'll see how that goes.

In the garage, or in the driveway. No room to build a shop. Miss the one I had in La., was 3400 sq foot, heated with bathroom, and walkin shower. The man that had the house there before us worked on farm tractors. The one car shop to the side was for his small engine repairs, not enough for a FSJ but the S-10 would fit. Man I miss that house. (Becuase of the shop)

Ditto gwinn. however, I've noticed the truck likes to wait until it starts raining or is over the tires in a stream before it breaks. I'm sure it is just to help me out with clean-up.....don't ya think?

In my driveway, in the parking lot of my mechanic's shop (we're on good terms and he'd rather me work on my truck than do it himself!), or in the AutoZone parking lot ('cause I can borrow their tools, and it saves a lot of runs to the part store)!

I used to use my 1 stall garage, nice with propane heater in Upstate NY winters... but now that the remains of the Wag's are in the garage, most wrenches are turned in the driveway. That's unless the part can be pulled, then it's in the unfinished basement along, oh, 20 feet of workbench.

I guess i'm lucky in that a family friend has a whole farm full of empty barns and empty buildings available (bottom fell out of the livestock market after foor and mouth 3 years ago). Right now she's "resting" in an old piggery. At least i have plenty of room to work in. In winter she can go in a fully enclosed barn.
When she's running better, and the YJ's back on 4 wheels (rear axle rebuild), she'll be paying weekend visits to my driveway.
