MWI Part Deux Plus One 9/28/12-9/30/12 SW Indiana
Putting this here now that we have a place of our own.
The original thread for this year. http://www.ifsja.org/forums/vb/showthread.php?t=158640
Looks like we're doing this 9/28-9/29 and leaving for home on 9/30. We will be staying at the Lieber State Park in Cloverdale, Indiana. We will be in Poplar Grove 090-101 circle.
http://indianastateparks.reserveamer...&parkId=570025
Park address is 1317 West Lieber Road Cloverdale, IN 46120.
Retro93 has also brought up a possible side trip up to The Badlands which is about 70 miles north. I may be up for it. Since there is no real organization to this other than a central place to hang out, enjoy the cooler weather and relax while feeling bridges, it's an anything goes weekend.

Oh, yeah. I even helped to plan it.
I would've been there if it wasn't for a pinion bearing going out on my truck.

Blahst! Same weekend as Street Machine Nationals
Well I was excited to see a MidWest gathering, but already had planned to be at the Street Machine Nationals this year. Wouldn't normally let that stop me, but I will have been out of town 4 out of 6 weekends and my kidlets need me home.
Hmmm maybe in the Fall we can do one at SMORR...(.net)
You guys have fun!

What a bummer that this event is on the same weekend as the Street Machine Nationals in Springfield, MO. This would have been a great opportunity to get some use out of my camper. Hopefully I'll be able to make the next one.

Things are looking up for me to be able to make it - should know for sure by the weekend. Probably just for sat afternoon/night & sunday morning.

Have a good time all!

Gas going down
Regular was down to $3.66 @ Sams Club today - might cut fuel budget to under $200...

That's about what i'm estimating my fuel cost will be if I get the Wagoneer on the road in time. But on the bright side if I don't get it running in time it will only cost me half that in the Magnum.

I'm out. Got hit with a seatbelt ticket yesterday so there goes a chunk of my play money. Maybe in a few months.

Don't get it running in time? Failure is not an option. I just finished bolting the front axle into the '79...I should have it all buttoned up by the evening.

Nice
Way to go Kim! If we get 3 on the road we might cause a flare in regional gas prices. Buy your petroleum futures now!

I'm trying to get 'er done and i'll be giving one last push this weekend. If I don't get it running and at least nearly driveable this weekend it won't be making the trip with me.

Hey guys, I posted this a while back in the other thread, but wanted to make sure everyone sees this. I'm looking for two doors for my '79, they are the older style. They need to be in pretty good condition, like no rust or very little, with all the internals and glass. I will be going on this trip, so if anybody has one or both of these doors, please let me know. Apparently FSJ parts are hard to come by around here
Even if they don't have the internals and glass, I might still be interested.
