He's a link to the geardrive starter, I've been running one for over a year in my '67 327 and it works great.

aren't they awesome?! I've been running his in mine for 2 years and love it. Little tricky on the install but haven't had a problem since. Nice not to kill batteries trying to get the engine to start anymore

Getting ready to start working on this beast...

almost 10 years later... haha...

Been in the garage since purchase...

Roughly in the same shape...

Glad to hear! I've read through this thread in the past and just went through to familiarize myself again. I've spent a great deal of time getting my 327 reliable and can try to answer questions you might have along the way.

Like folks suggested previously, the 4bbl intake, pertronix ignition, and dual exhaust are kind of the extent of performance mods. I've done all three. You can also replace the backwards driver side exhaust manifold with the same from a Rambler 327 - that manifold exits at the rear of the motor. I managed to find one and swapped them, which makes for a much easier time routing dual pips.

Damn,

A CJ5 restore got in my way... Im getting close to getting this thing started.... grrr... hhaha


I only have 4 Jeeps now so it's next in line... the CJ runs and drives this weekend... then I will start back on here.
