Vermont Jeepers!

I'm gonna be heading up to Vermont to fill my growler at the Magic Hat brewery. Vinyl's back!

I was wondering if there are any places that have FSJ parts along my way to Burlington. (yards, farms, etc.)

Mainly a T176 (just missed out on one down here). The other things I can get down here, but I want to see if I can find it cheaper while I'm looking.

I'm originally from Vermont. There are some really lousy scrap yards on the way up Route 7. I know nothing about the Eastern side of the state, but the stuff you'll find will require you to dig in about every little salvage yard you can find. Most are not large, and all are waaay overpriced. There was a yard in Rutland that had a couple FSJ's about 5 years ago, but I don't remember the name. My advice is to do that searching on the internet, and maybe find a couple places to hit that you know have something. I wasted many days looking around those yards for anything useful, only to not find it, or to find that they wanted way too much for it. Have fun at Magic Hat. Watch your rear on Rt 7. Vermont is a progressive hole in the earth. They have no industry, so the cops will stop you for doing 3 over, just to make enough to sweep Main Street for the next gay pride parade...

I go back to visit only to listen to my family whine about how jobs are scarce, and getting scarcer. Most of the salvage yards are gone because someone said they were killing the environment. Can you tell that I don't plan on moving back...?

Thanks for the tip. Maybe I'll just stick with Ivan's yard in CT.

stop by http://www.brokenroad4wd.com/ in Croydon, NH. They're on your way, and an awesome Jeep shop with tons of parts & parts vehicles. You'll be happy you did!

Tell them Jeff sent you.
