Ouray 07 BBQ - July 12 (DATE CHANGE)

I will be hosting a BBQ at the KOA campground on Thursday July 12th.

I just wanted to get it out there right away, so everyone can plan on it.

I will provide everything, food wise. Everyone provides their own drink.

We can share stories of broken Jeep parts, vapor lock and trail stories from the week of fun.

I'm looking forward to meeting everyone.

Wow, what a great offer! If I can get away from work this summer you can bet I'll be there.

As I was fond of saying when I was penniless and at Ohio State, "I've never had a bad free meal, but I've had free meals I wouldn't pay for".

If you serve real Chi-town Chili Dogs, I will worship you.

Imagine my look of horror when I first ordered a chili dog here in the Southwest..it was slathered in this green slimey crap they call chili..uke:

I'll try and procure a quarter-keg from one our fine local brewers. My gf and daughter should be coming up friday night from Durango and can bring it fresh.

The BBQ sounds great. I'll eat any meat ya got, but I do steer clear of vegetables trying to impersonate real meat. Looking forward to the event. This is a great way to top it off!

I think I am going to have to make Kenny some of my Portabella mushrooms. Cooked in garlic butter, breaded and topped with motzerella cheese. It's pretty good for a fungus.

Fungus. I think eating fungus is manly. Not like eating broccoli or brussel sprouts. And fungus is very fitting for me, as I'm a funguy.
