Question

Every time I crank her the voltage meter is way down. 8 volts. She cranks up/runs fine. The voltage will stay there until I get up to about 50 mph, then it will jump up to 13 - 14 volts and stay there until I turn her off.

It's been doing this since I got my GW a year ago. Havn't had any problems with it, except dim lights at night because of the low voltage.

I guess it's one of three things: battery, altenator or voltage regulator.

Anyone know a fix to this?

Thanks!
