Cluster diagram

Is the labeling correct for "4 low light"? I know emergency drive is on top. I am running wire from ECU of 96 12V ram to this, as the 96 ram had a 4 high and 4 low light. I was gonna tap into emergency drive light for when air lockers are engaged.

If this is in a 77, there is no 4 Low light. The hole you have labeled as 4 Low was just painted out and no light installed. I used that hole for my Check Engine light when I did my EFI install.

If you want to use that hole, you have to remove the little red plastic lens and remove the paint. I used brake fluid knowing that it would gently eat the paint and hopefully not damage the red plastic lens.

Awesome, thank you. I have the glove box out and notice the factory still installed a turn socket with bulb in that panel and the emergency drive, which is odd as it's a waste of parts. Do I have the emergency drive lens or is that painted over as well

Was there any letters on the lens when you removed the paint? And is the emergency drive lens painted over as Well? I may do what you did as I'm running the ECU from 96 ram. I might retrofit an amber lens with a little engine decal or stencil on it and connect a wire directly to that post the purple line goes to, to pin 32 on the ECU which is CEL. Or I'll use it as a low fuel light.

some clusters have unused(lettered) clusters, some do not.
shine a light through holes and if yours does it'll tell you.
even if it is not easy-ish to change.

What year?

My '84 has both lenses with nothing blocking them out but neither were used.
It did have a bulb and wiring in the 4Wheel hole but it wasn't used on the T/C I had.

Just found this out recently that my T/C didn't use the light. Seems it was used in '85.
