just got a 75 Cherokee more pic's

has 360 auto, have to pick it up Saturday, has not been on the road sence 07 but started up and driven in the yard. did not have a gas tank in it when owner bought it so he put a tank from a car where the spair tire should be.
needs a few things but dont they all. comes with a hole bunch of spare parts.
the owner told me he just gave a 81 to the scrap yard all their but the body. he is going to call the scrap yard for me and see if I can go pick it up or get some parts off it.

I got some pic's of the 75 I will post later...
its not in bad shape at all. very fixable.
the owner gave me a bunch of spare parts, 2 rear windows, tailgate, tranny,2 t-cases, driveshaft for the front, leaf springs, rims, factory pushbar, and hornets nest that is in between the rad and the header panel. he said no extra for that...LOL

Looks like it's in good shape! Owned one just like it for 15 years, same year, same model, same color, same decal down the side. It was my hunting, fishing, towing, hauling, go anywhere, do anything vehicle.

Have fun with it!

that's the exact model as mine and paint scheme (originally). However, I had aluminum slot wheels. Nice looking ride.

went to the junk yard that he gave the chief frame to, it was complet with front end, rearend, driveshafts, engine tranny and t-case, they sold it to me for $150.oo. not sure waht the engine was as the more my buddy and I looked at the thing the price seemed to go up. started at oh i dont know $100 maybe after we turned the engien and it was not stuck price went to $150.oo. LOL I stoped looking ..hahaaahaahaaaa.. frame has no cracks or holes taht I could see...

finaly had the time to go pick up the cherokee nad bring it home.. yeah...
I took the valve covers off nad dumped in some oil, took off the oil pump nad made sure it was full.
sealed it up. put a drop or to of fuel ing the holly 4brl and she started right up... sound great.
now to pull the tranny as when the po broke the front d/s it took out the pan and case on the tranny.... but the good news is I have a few here... and I noticed the rear is a possi, the t-case has a gear reduction unit on it... yeah ha...

I also when to pick up the rolling chassi and found an old cj5 cheep.
4banger, m38 hood ect ect.. not sure of the year as the vin plate was painted over but I can clean that up when I get it home...
