Looking for sm465 rebuild tech

Im just about to pick up a 465 205 combo cheap, but it pops out of third, im told, its not in the truck now. So im planing on going through it.

I would apreciate any links, or input

it's cheaper to pick up another tranny in the junkyard than to rebuild. mine pops out of third a lot. to rebuild it myself would be a few hundred. a junker would cost $150 tops.
