motor mount -quickest way to replace
So I've Got A Camping Trip Planned, And Just Remembered I Have A Busted Motor Mount!?! I Would Just Postpone The Trip, But My Old Last Would Have Me In The DogHouse For A Year.Over That One.
Anyways, Do I Need A Cherry Picker Or Can I Make This Happen With A Small Floor Jack?

I did the ones on the wife's 96 blazer with a floor jack and couple pieces of wood to spread the load. I'd do both sides while you are in there. Just for piece of mind if nothing else. Lot more room to work on our stuff than that bleep/bleep blazer.

Floor jack with a chunk of 2x4 between the jack cradle and oil pan will work just fine.

Who originally determined the mount was bad? If you put it in gear, hold the brake, and rev the engine does it lift up on one side? Same in reverse gear?

Maybe the trans mount was bad?
