A/C Compressor valve

Just had the AC condenser replaced, next is the valve on the compressor... problem is, the one from Napa (that is supposed to be the stock one) has the wrong size flare fitting that runs to the hose--it's too small.

All I can think of is that the compressor is an aftermarket, but the labels are missing.

Anyone else have this problem? Solution? I could have a custom hose made, but that can get pricey. Would rather replace the valve if possible.

My rig is a '90.

They should have an assortment of different service valves in the TEMP book. Some NAPAs have bins of assorted adapter fittings in steel and brass behind the counter as well, though A/C line flare tends to be different than SAE or JIC flare.

I love how arguements end as soon as Ristow comments. Ristow is right...again.
