Hit the barn for the first time in months today and tried to pick up where we left off.
Got the Vintage Air unit mounted to the firewall, threw the carpet in so that I could hack out a hole for the shifters and set the console in for reference while I mocked up the custom console in cardboard, then luan and eventually cut my first piece in MDF.
I need to source a set of 2008-09 black leather F150 Supercrew front buckets as I've decided to use them over the GW seats. The F150 seats are equally comfortable and 3 inches narrower (each) which will allow for an 11 inch wide console... which will allow for cup holders and rear seat AC vents. I'm going to use the arm rest cushion from an F150 so that they match and recover the GW rear seat in matching black leather.

That is really gonna be a beautiful vehicle.Breakfast amounts to one live toad, I choke that mofo down, and I am rest assured that nothing worse will happen to me for the rest of the day.
