I dont know about that. What about all the old GM cars/trucks that are still running fine with it? I dont think it could be that big of a piece of junk.
I'm sure the duraspark when properly setup works great though. I've always liked Ford products they seem to be well built. Only thing is it has alot of wires.
I'm running the prestolite with tfi coil and it works good. Even have a spare new module for it so I'll run it till it dies. Dont know what I'll go with for new ignition probably duraspark.
I wonder how Dennis(scoutgrl) has made out with his idea of using a dual mode duraspark module to vary the timing from in cab.
