Been awhile, real busy with life. Just sent my son off to LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY. Very happy for him, but I'am missing him a lot. Anyway, the hood is ready for paint again. One of my neighbors is a painter and is going to help me paint the hood. I feel like I'am falling behind so I'am reaching out for some help.

The inside of all four doors has a good coat of undercoating, the problem is, it has rust under it. So I striped all the undercoating off. Looks like the only paint inside of the doors is over spray. Really sucks.Waiting on some POR 15 to coat the inside.

I have a light coat of self etching primer on the bare metal, and the first of the high build primer. These doors are going to take a lot of time.

The problem with my doors is more with the hinges, locking mechanism and window regulators. They have the normal forty one years of wear, and everything is very sloppy.

Have All four doors gutted and removed all the undercoating from the inside of them. Vent windows are also out.

Used a heat gun and torch to scrape off the old sticker.

You might be wondering why get rid of the undercoating inside the doors. It is falling off in some places. Other areas, it's still intact, but has rust under it. So I'am trying to slow the rust down, this is why I'am painting the inside of the doors with POR15.

Almost no paint on the inside of my doors. The only paint was over-spray.
