Clamped the dash to a bar for alignment and welded in the brace.

Debated the location of the A/C controls. Leave them in the stock location and hear “can you turn the heat up/down/sideways” or move the controls and let the wife play with them herself.

Easy choice and now there’s a place for something else. Probably the gas gauge.

Also filled all the other holes. Easier start with a clean slate for positioning everything than to try and make them fit with the existing holes. The A/C vent should take out the old fresh air cable holes.

'84 GW with Nissan SD33T, early Chev NV4500, 300, narrowed Ford reverse 44, narrowed Ford 60, SOA/reversed shackle in fornt, lowered mount/flipped shackle in rear.
