I would add a small strong ratchet strap, It always amazes me how many uses we have found for them{I always have them for tying dirt bikes down} they don't take up much room:thumbsup:

If your going to repair it cut out the bad weld in metal. I like the idea of driving to where ever to find a rust free one it looks as if time shouldn't be a problem with all the other work the bed...

Restomod. Add a 455 Buick/700r plenty power & looks original never lack power! Is that "overdrive"T" handle hooked up to a Dana 20/od combo if so keep that and don't swap the trans.:drivin:

I found my brown 1983 Wagoneer rite here it was listed for a long while I finely contacted the owner And on a trip 3 mounts later I looked at it about 15 minutes and drove it 7 hrs.:thumbsup: home!

go with an edelbrock performer & 4 barrel my personal choice for a carb is Holley but the edelbrock carbs run good and are easily tunable,Good luck have fun:thumbsup:
