This... and I also suspect my rear cargo area window seals are leaking too - I've noticed drops of water going down the inner wheel well toward the front, and I know they leak into the way back cargo...

+1. I assume gopher means the plate/bracket with the little rubber cones. Mine have screws just like the latch plate for loosening/adjusting.

I swear I remember my 73 had something similar to a piece of sheetmetal attatched to to top of the motor mount that was part of it - always assumed that's what it was for. I've got newer style mounts...

Oh, it's been up for over 10 years and still looks good. The plastic has sagged a tiny bit in the very front section since that's the largest area without any support, but the fabric is still stuck...

I made mine out of plastic sign board (the corrugated stuff) and speaker box fabric. I cut slits on the backside for the bends along the sides and front and used 3M spray adhesive to bond the fabric....

I dont know how many people would pay 500 bucks for a muscle grill - or any style for that matter. If you're selling them, I personally wouldn't do anything that expensive to make fhem look better....
