It runs!... Well, it runs with my fuel pump, carburetor, and distributor at least. Now to re-torque head bolts, change oil and run it some more.

He went with a Comp270H cam for this one....

I am with Ghinmi on this one. I don't think that the kit would make 300 HP on a 360 even with 10:1 compression ratio. I think that it would possibly make 383 HP on a 401 but wouldn't bet on it.

I have never had a over heating issue with boring a 401 +0.040" or even +0.060" over for that matter. At +.060" they should be sonic checked to make sure there is still around .100" wall thickness....

There are 2 slightly different styles of head bolts. One has a more rounded top than the other.
