Just plan on doing the drop pitman arm. It's more than worth it for a street driven rig.

Also, plan on dropping the gas tank when you do the rear springs.

I’m pretty sure you’ll need spacers. I ran 17” JK wrangler wheels on my commander at on point, but I don’t recall what year. The offset is different on the wrangler wheels than the commander.

Just did this. That fixture was a big help. Should be pretty easy to figure out something similar for any TC. Its just a few 2x4s cut to the right lengths and some holes drilled in them for the studs...

No, I dont think so. Otherwise you axle would move in the opposite direction as your steering shaft as cause massive bump steer. It has to be mounted to the frame on the same side as the steering...

I had similar issues w/ mine and I finally got it...

I had similar issues w/ mine and I finally got it where i wanted it after replacing the ball joints. Everything else had been replaced/upgraded. They were too stiff from age (not worn and sloppy)....
