If you have the factory np208 from an fsj, then it has 32 spline outputs front and rear. I just put 1350 cv flanges on both mine last week, so i know they work with that seal.

Any other places to get stock rear springs?

So ive got BJ's offroad as a source, but $150 for shipping seems high for 2 springs. Anyone know of another place to get stock height rear springs for an '81 j10?

Fords are 5 bolt spindles, chevy's are 6 bolt and IH is oddball even more (8 bolt maybe).

Do yourself a favor and get chevy knuckles. Guranteed to fit.

Driveshaftsuperstore.com has 1350 cv shafts listed at $395 for long travel and $350 for standard travel...and they have a higher operation angle than unmodified 1350 cvs while still being sealed....

If they can build me one for as cheap as these guys do, then i will definitely use them. Hard to beat $350/ea for 1350 cv shaft.

I havent gotten new driveshafts yet, but will be running 1350 cvs on both ends of the tcase and 1350 joints at the axles. Tatton driveline in utah is where i will be getting them from.

Havent had a chance to test it yet. I have to do some more clearancing on it to make it work. Right now the springs are hitting it where the boxed the front. From what ive read they should work well....

It means that a 1310 has a lower operating angle...

It means that a 1310 has a lower operating angle than say a 1410. So, once you know your max angles, you can pick the joint that fits your needs.

Dont worry about the pattern, looks as good as its going to get. Coast side of gears will give you the best pattern indication on a USED set of gears. Drive side doesnt matter so much. :cool:

X2 on the telescoping magnet. Worked perfect on the long side front shaft i broke last year, at the neck down at the splines in the front diff :rolleyes:

He is talking about the pitman arm, not highsteer arm. You might want to measure what yours is now, it may work. i drilled out my j20 arm for a 3/4 bolt (heims) and have had zero problems.
