thanks for the input. i will take a look at a 208. i thought i would stick with what i have on hand now and that would be a 20 or a 300 and there is a 203 in there somewhere.

i plan on putting a 383 in the 77. saw where a 383 put out like 450 ft/lb of torque at 4500 and 430 hp at 5500. should be a stump puller.
