i guess you can only take the connections apart and check them and check the brake switch under the dash that kills the cruise that is a little plunger unit and can be an issue because it moves...

hose on the bleeder and in a bottle of brake fluid works great also keep pumping them until it doesnt blow bubbles of air and then tighten the bleeder

i would put one past the door opening outside the latch area ,that way you would have a full hoop to the winshield. also it would fill in that area too
