I'm from Victoria BC, and I have an 81 J10 with an endless amount of mods. There are a few more around here that I know of too. Rust seems to be an issue on most old jeeps I see around here!

I think utimately a 60 front is the way to go if strength is a concern, even though I run a HD44 front locked up on 37's with 3.73's and a 6.32:1...

I boxed in my frame completely from the crossmember up over the rear diff and it sure stiffened it up. I would think it would help in situations like towing and hard pulls etc.
