Definitely going to think about the body swap if the frame on the LJ can be straightened.

Frame damage is the primary reason it was totaled. So I don't think a body swap will work. The wheelbase on the LJ is 103 half-inch is, so just two inches off from the commando

The issue is that this year and model was never offered with an inline six. it has a shorter engine bay that the FSJs or bullnose models that were offered with AMC engines

26 spline yokes from a QT (double cardan) or you can even use a dana 44 pinion yoke IRRC.

Can't remember for sure, but I think some of the NP outputs are 26 spline and there are a few dana 20 fine...
