Quick question about a fuse problem...I think

I think I am having a fuse problem, but am not quite sure which fuse to replace or where its located.

I have a 1988 GW

When I turn my headlights on, the illumination behind my instrument panel goes off; including the digital clock...when I turn the headlights off, the clock comes back on.

Can someone please help.

Thanks,
-Clay

Likely culprit is grounding issue...

Follow the Black Ground Wire @ B-19 and insure that it has a good ground.

I am not great with electrical. Can you try to describe where this black ground wire is on the vehicle itself?

I also forgot to mention that this is a new problem that just popped up a couple of days ago- which is why I thought it might be a bad fuse

mystery solved. It was the 3A fuse labeled ACC LPS
